Here's a typical 'swinging 60s' film, directed and produced by the Boulting brothers. Hywel Bennett is Martin, a disturbed young man who feigns mental illness in order to get into Hayley Mills' knickers. Posing as 'Georgie', he worms his way into her life but soon displays some strange tendencies. He also whistles the most annoying little tune... and gradually his sinister intentions are revealed! This film was criticised at the time of release for the way it portrayed Downs Syndrome. However, it's by no means the worst of its kind...and it has a certain flaky charm.
