Three tales for the PRICE of one! The first concerns a young woman who visits her father (Vincent Price) after being separated from him for twenty six years. However, he is not pleased to see her since he has 'mummy' in an upstairs bedroom! Part Two has Peter Lorre as a drunk who finds out about his wife's adultery with Vincent Price, a mincing wine taster. Lorre is very nasty to his wife's cat, but Puss has his revenge in the end. The third tale is based on Poe's classic The Case of M.Valdemar, and has Basil Rathbone as a nasty hypnotist who puts VP under at the moment of his death. He then makes a play for Mrs Valdemar, but ends up getting carpeted for his pains. Mr Price puts in three very different performances, and acts as narrator between sections...what a spooky movie!
