ELECTRA GLIDE IN BLUE.Made in 1973, this is a kind of road movie with a twist. It contains performances by members of Chicago such as Terry Kath and Peter Cetera, and was produced by James William Guercio, who also produced the band's albums. Also appearing are Billy Green Bush, Mitch Ryan and a fantastic Robert Blake as the hero, Big John Wintergreen, all 5 feet 6 and a quarter inches of him. Jeannine C Riley (she had a minor hit record once, Harper Valley PTA) plays the love interest.Best of all is ELISHA COOK JR as Willie.I swear that man was in every movie ever made! One of my favourite films ever, even though it was almost universally panned by critics at the time. It's worth watching for the locations alone, being shot in the area of Superstition Mountain in Monument Valley, Arizona. I LOVE THIS FILM! More rampant roadkill  from Sneaky Elephant SOON! (WARNING! Requires installation of VEOH Player to watch full movie, but it's virus-free so download with confidence and enjoy this wonderful movie!)
