The House on Haunted Hill (1959)

WOOOOOOO! Would YOU spend a night in the HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL??? With an address like that, neither would I! William Castle was infamous for dreaming up gimmicks to add that little 'something' to his films. In this case it was a process called 'EMERGO', a glow-in-the-dark skeleton on a wire that would float over the cinema audience at a crucial point in the action (the audience would often pelt the poor skeleton with popcorn boxes and coke cans). To see 'Emergo' in action click HERE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I84IY4ooVv8&feature=related Vincent Price gives his usual assured performance here, along with his trademark sly humour. Also appearing is ELISHA COOK JR, who was a familiar face onscreen for decades, usually in supporting roles. By the way, this is the rare colorised version. BRRRRRR! You won't catch me in that ole house, not even for 10 thousand dollars! More from Sneaky Elephant's property portfolio SOON!
